Antlers- Large Moose & Elk Antlers
Wild Moose and Elk Antlers are mother nature's perfect chew. These Antlers are 100% natural without any artificial ingredients or additives found in commercially produced chews. These Antlers are split or whole large size. They range from 7" to 9" lengths. They are long-lasting, don't stain, and virtually odorless. Your furry family members find them irresistible and are packed with essential minerals such as calcium, potassium and zinc. Moose Antlers are naturally shed mostly from Alaska, and Elk Antlers are naturally shed mostly from Colorful Colorado. Rug Rascals sources only premium Grade A brown shed Antlers.
A Note on Antler Chews: Safety & Fit
Antlers are hard, long-lasting natural chews. Their hardness can cause tooth fractures or gum injury, and pieces may splinter. No chew is risk-free.
- Always provide active adult supervision. Remove the antler if your dog bites down forcefully or attempts to swallow pieces.
- Choose by your dog's size, mouth size, and chewing behavior, not breed alone. These large antlers measure 7–9 inches; choose a piece too large to swallow whole. A larger antler does not eliminate dental risk for powerful chewers.
- Split antlers expose the marrow center, but both split and whole antlers remain hard chews and can damage teeth.
- Inspect before and during use. Discard if cracked, splintering, sharp-edged, heavily worn, or small enough to swallow.
- Consult your veterinarian before offering antlers to a dog with dental sensitivities, damaged teeth, or gum concerns, or if you are unsure whether hard chews are appropriate.
